Jamalpur
Jamalpur Zilla School was founded in 1881 by T. A. Dono, the Sub-Divisional Officer. It was initially renamed Dono High School in 1881, then Jamalpur Dono English High School under government endowment in 1882. It was fully nationalized in 1912 and became Jamalpur Zilla School in 1979 when Jamalpur was declared a district. The campus spans 12.07 acres.
